About This Position
Job Essentials:
Program, set-up, and operate a variety of CNC Lathe Machine Tools and/or job procedures. Produce parts applying knowledge of mechanics, metal properties, layout, job procedures. Monitor quality and count on parts produced. Study specifications, such as blueprints, sketches, or description of part to be produced, and plan sequence of operations.
Job Skills:
Must be organized and able to use computers and calculators; legibly fill out shop papers and QC charts.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma with equivalency of 5 years machining experience, or trade school diploma for machining.
Physical Requirements:
Full range of bodily motion with the ability of lifting a maximum of 45 lbs.
Pay:
Based on knowledge and experience; re-evaluated after 60-day review.
