Carbon Steel Spindle Weldment for Floor Scrubber

To manufacture these spindle weldments being used for a floor scrubber, Cosmos Enterprises used a combination of processes, including turning, milling, laser cutting, robotic welding, drilling, and threading. Using carbon steel as a base material, we upheld a tight tolerance of +/- .0005". Each spindle featured a material thickness from 1/2" to 2-1/2", was 11" in length, 6" in width, 4" in height, and weighed 10 pounds. All spindles received a zinc finish and were yellow in color. With 300 units per run, we palletized and wrapped each run before delivery. This project took 6 weeks to complete.
